About the Film

Jessica is a supernatural psychological horror feature about loss, guilt, and the terrifying force of a child’s loneliness.

The Project

A grieving mother fights for her surviving son against the ghost of another mother’s abandonment. The film is a quiet, atmospheric supernatural drama — a story about loss, guilt, and the lengths a parent will go to protect the child she has left.

The tone is grounded and cinematic: slow-burn tension, minimal jump scares, emotional performances, and an intimate haunted-house atmosphere.

Visual Language

The film favors stillness, low-angle compositions, dim interiors, basement shadows, analog clocks, toy trains, and the quiet dread of what the camera does not show.

Jessica is often represented through partial framing: legs, hands, the back of a head, a doll, a doorway, or footprints in a dark hallway.
